A decoration signed Jacques Garcia
You will find at the hotel La Reserve Paris a confidential and privileged world, a club spirit, dedicated to the French way of life.
As part of the renovation of Paris ordered by Napoleon III, the Haussmann-style building (freestone facades, adorned with balconies, cornices and moldings, slightly rounded roofs and slate) was built in 1854 and occupied by the family of the Duke of Morny until 1888.
The interior is signed Jacques Garcia, French architect and decorator, specialist in mythical places such as Versailles, The Louvre, the Hôtel des Beaux-Arts and the Château du Champs de Bataille in Normandy.
Jacques Garcia searched for antiques piece by piece, the fireplaces as for them are original.
The decoration was thought to favor the confidentiality of the exchanges.
The moldings are inspired by those of the Grand Salon d'Abondant of the Louvre museum that Jacques Garcia redesigned.
Versailles parquet, oak wood representation and original fireplace enhance the warm service of our teams.
The suites and rooms adorned with bronze, beige, purple or tea rose tones offer large openings and spacious volumes. Exposed full south, the Suites enjoy an omnipresent light.
The furniture found or designed exclusively matches the interior architecture of the XNUMXth century (high ceilings, rechamped moldings, dentil cornices, sculpted friezes). The solid oak parquet is laid in Hungarian stitch. The fabrics are from the prestigious Rubelli house.
