Arrival in Myanmar and welcome by your guide. Visit of the city with the Sulé pagoda, the lively market of Bogyoke and its stalls, discovery of the reclining Buddha of Kyaukhtatgyi and finally of the impressive Schwedagon pagoda.
Fly to Heho, then after a short drive you will take the boat to your hotel by the lake. Then go by motorized canoe on the lake to discover its lake villages, floating gardens and traditional fishermen. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and Nga Phe Monastery.
This morning, boat cruise on the western shore of the lake to access the front door of the hidden complex of Indein Pagoda, known for its hundreds of stupas. You will then reach a small authentic neighboring village before returning to your hotel.
This morning, you will take the boat and then the road to reach the pleasant town of Kalaw, located in the heights on the Shan plateau. After lunch, you will leave for a two hour hike to observe the villages and cultures of this plateau.
On the road to Bagan, visit the pilgrimage site of Mount Popa, an ancient volcano crowned by a monastery that is reached by 777 steps. You will then join your hotel in Bagan where you will enjoy during 3 nights of your suite overlooking the Irrawady River.
