The rooms of the Eolo hotel

The 17 rooms of the Eolo hotel have been designed to offer their occupants restful sleep while admiring the landscape. Antique furniture coexists with simple lines and pastel colors to create an estancia atmosphere typical of southern Argentina. The rooms are equipped with all amenities, including telephone, WiFi and central heating adjustable according to individual preferences. However, there are no televisions in the rooms, in order to better enjoy the breathtaking view.

Superior room

The Superior Rooms offer a breathtaking view of the lake, the steppe and/or the mountain range. Each of the twelve bedrooms has a unique decoration, while two of them can accommodate an extra bed. On average, each room covers an area of ​​400 square feet.

premium room

These Premium Rooms, three in number, have an additional feature compared to the superior category rooms: they have a second window overlooking the hotel garden. They are uniquely decorated and offer the possibility of adding an extra bed. With an average area of ​​500 square feet, these rooms are spacious and comfortable.

corner room

The Corner Rooms have a double window in the corner which allows the immensity of the landscape to be subtly part of the room. This is the highest category and there are only two rooms of this type in the hotel. The average area is 515 square feet.

The restaurant of the Eolo hotel

The restaurant of the Eolo hotel in Argentina offers a cuisine that skilfully combines regional products with the techniques and aesthetics of international cuisine, under the direction of chef Juan Pablo Bonaveri. The dishes, signed with his personal touch, promote origins and heritage while retaining a cosmopolitan touch.

Guests can enjoy breakfast facing a mesmerizing sunrise, lunch with breathtaking views of the landscape, and high tea accompanied by a selection of delicate blends and exquisite pastries. Breakfast includes fresh juices, homemade jams, homemade breads and local dairy products. Lunch and dinner offer a variety of dishes with options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Dishes are served with carefully selected Argentine wines to complement each course. The exclusively Argentinian wines offered come from the best vineyards in the country.

The bar is also a great place to relax and swap stories and experiences about the day's trip.

Chef Juan Pablo Bonaveri brings to the kitchen his professional experience acquired in Buenos Aires and the Basque Country, where he worked in starred restaurants and learned to respect the quality of products. Once his experience in Spain was over, he returned to Argentina to explore the local culinary roots. This is how he arrived in Patagonia, where the environment seduced him and invited him to stay. Today, he is the mastermind behind Eolo's cuisine: an exquisite offering that fuses the taste of European immigrant foods with the native flavors of Patagonia.

Activities to discover Patagonia 

Eolo offers outdoor activities tailored to each guest's interests, physical condition and available time, with options for each area of ​​Patagonia. The routes are divided by area to help visitors choose one activity per day, taking into account climatic conditions. Activities outside the hotel have an additional cost.

Outdoor experience at the Eolo

It is recommended that guests allow at least a day to explore the surroundings of Eolo, as many activities are exclusive to hotel guests. There is a dedicated guide who organizes all outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, 4×4 excursions, horseback riding.

Discover the Perito Moreno Glacier

The Perito Moreno Glacier, located just a 50-minute drive from Hotel Eolo, is the region's biggest attraction. Visitors can choose from several options such as observation from the main viewpoint, a boat cruise along the front wall of the glacier or even a walk on the ice using crampons, which can be short. or long term depending on preference.

Upsala Glacier and Lago Argentino

The Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini are two of the largest glaciers in Lago Argentino and can be reached from Hotel Eolo in just 30 minutes in Puerto Punta Bandera. Once there, you can choose from a variety of activities, including boat cruises, visits to traditional estancias, 4×4 excursions, lake kayaking and trekking.

El Chaltén 

El Chalten is a favorite spot for trekking enthusiasts and offers stunning views of Mount Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, Viedma Glacier and Lago del Desierto. It's a two and a half hour drive and those who don't wish to spend the night there can take a day trip. Visitors with more time can also take advantage of other options such as 4×4 excursions, visiting the Ice Museum (Glaciarium), hiking in the Roca Lake area, fly fishing or visiting from the town of El Calafate.
