Night in Beijing
Start this second day in China, with a visit to the most important sites of Beijing, accompanied by interactive lessons of language and culture. A guide will accompany the family for the day.
8:00 am, departure from the hotel with a teacher and driver to reach the Temple of Heaven.
8:30 am, enjoy a short introduction to the history of the Temple and its role in Chinese history.
8:45 am, a course of about two hours will be given on the history of Chinese characters. Learn all about the underlying logic of this writing, its composition, the evolution of calligraphy, tones, the creation of the 'pinyin' system… and many other secrets!
10h45, brief pause and time for questions
11h00-11h00, an interactive class on water calligraphy, one of the many activities often practiced by the Chinese. Using giant water-laden paintbrushes, write characters on the flagstones in the park and watch what happens
Return to the hotel with the teacher / guide around noon.

Continue the day to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Learn all about the city's history, its role in dynasties, as well as why most Chinese buildings face south.
After this new visit, climb the artificial coal hill just behind the Forbidden City, offering a spectacular view of the entire site.
Finish the day with a Kung Fu show in the Red Theater, known as Chongwen Worker's Cultural Palace Theater.
Night in Beijing
Early departure from your hotel to visit the Mutianyu section of the wall (75 km, 2 hours). Especially beautiful in the morning light, it will be possible to capture beautiful pictures from this point of view.
Contrary to popular belief, the Great Wall of China is not visible from space but is the most important symbol of the country. The history of the wall dates back over 2 years to the Qin dynasty, although today associated more with the Ming dynasty.

Night in Beijing
Start of the day with a visit to the Summer Palace. With its imperial garden, the site has been completely renovated by theEmperor Qianlong during the 18th century. It is with the Great Wall, one of the most important sites of the capital.
Then embark on a pedal boat for a short cruise on the Kunming Lake.
Following these activities, return to town for a transfer to Beijing Railway Station. There you will take a high speed train to Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province.
Upon arrival in Xi'an, a local guide will be there to greet you and arrange transportation to the hotel.
Overnight in Xi'an
Start the visit of Xi'an with a discovery of terracotta warriors, located about an hour's drive from Xi'an.
Discovered by farmers in 1974, this accidental find has become one of the greatest archaeological finds in modern history.
There is also a small museum on site which houses two magnificent bronze chariots found in 1980 west of the mausoleum.
Following this visit, you will be taken to a terracotta factory, to show you how these statues were made. There is even the opportunity to make statuettes of terracotta warriors! This activity is unique and fun, especially recommended for groups with children.
After the visits of Terracotta, continue to explore some of the culture of this destination. Enjoy the unique ambiance of the night market with a dinner focused on local specialties based on spicy lamb kebabs, flatbread and mutton noodle soup.
Overnight in Xi'an
Start the morning with a XNUMX-hour bike tour through Xi'an. To stay in the tradition, you can take this tandem tour. During the tour, see the impressive Xi'an City Walls built during the Ming Dynasty.
You will be offered a calligraphy course, one of the bases of Chinese culture and an artistic pursuit inside the small wild goose pagoda.
Following this activity, departure to Chengdu, where a guide will be present for reception and hotel transfer.

Overnight in Chengdu
Start your day with a visit to Panda Breeding Center. Located at 15km from Chengdu, you can see a hundred Panda. This center is the largest in the world for captive Pandas.
After this visit, return to Chengdu. In the afternoon, meet at Wenshu temple, the best preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. Enjoy a hot cup of tea in his tea house.
Stroll through People's Park for a glimpse of a traditional Chinese park. It is in these parks that the inhabitants practice Tai-Chi, Kung-fu, sword dancing, meditation, dance, gymnastics ... all considered essential to their well-being.

A transfer to Chengdu airport for the flight to Guilin will be arranged for you.
Welcome to the Autonomous Region of Guangxi Zhuang who will be your nature part for this stay. This region is best known for its many minorities and its fantastic countryside of rocky peaks bordering the Li River.
Enjoy a cruise on a local boat, on the Li River.
The cruise ends at Xingping, an ancient village with over 1000 years of history. Xingping is known for its Ming and Qing dynasty houses and its bustling market every 3 days. The village is surrounded by "Sugarloaf Mountains", unique karst formations that provide an astonishing backdrop.

Night in Yangshuo
Morning transfer with the driver and instructor to the climbing school to choose the equipment. A beginner's location is generally chosen, with a climbing session approximately three hours that suits everyone
Following this course, you will leave for your hotel. From there, you will join a new activity, a cooking lessons in the Yangshuo countryside
Classes usually start at 3am and last four hours. This includes a visit to a local market where ingredients are selected, followed by the group class at school. Following that, you will taste of course what you have just done!
